The Miami Marlins are ready to step-up to the plate and hit a home run for the environment with the 2010 Caravan for Earth, Monday, February 8 to Friday, February 12. This year the week-long celebration incorporates an earth-friendly theme as Marlins players, coaches, Billy The Marlin, the Mermaids, and the Manatees promote "green" initiatives through South Florida. The Marlins Caravan will culminate with the annual Miami Marlins Jiffy Lube FanFest presented by TD Bank and hosted by Marriott Biscayne Bay on Saturday, February 13 at Sun Life Stadium. More info »

In addition, the Miami Marlins will host exclusive fundraising events including the annual Mercedes-Benz of Fort Lauderdale Marlins Celebrity Golf Classic presented by Sharp Business Systems on Thursday, February 11, and the annual Marlins Awards Dinner Ceremony presented by Fox Sports on Friday, February 12. These elite events will feature key local figures, sports legends and more. Proceeds will benefit the Miami Marlins Community Foundation Cornerstone for Kids.
