Miami Marlins Opening Night, April 4, 2012

Don't Just Witness History, Be Part of It!

As part of Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Emilio Estefan's production of the Inaugural Miami Marlins Opening Night festivities on April 4, 2012, an initiative named "Be Part of History" provides fans with the opportunity to be spectators and active participants throughout the course of the pregame festivities.

How to Participate:

Video any part of the Marlins Opening Night pregame production from your perspective at Marlins Park. The ceremonies will be about 35 minutes and feature a lot of surprises, so be ready to catch them!
After the conclusion of the event, visit this page at marlins.com/bepartofhistory and upload your video(s).
Follow these guidelines for your videos:
- File size must not exceed 150MB, so try to keep your videos under 3:00 to 5:00 in length each.
- Acceptable formats: Video QuickTime (.mov, .qt, .mp4, .3gp), MPEG (.mpg, .mpeg, .mp2), Windows Media (.wmv), AVI (.avi) or DV (.dv).
- There is no maximum to the number of videos you can upload (There is a max. of three per form submission)

In the weeks following, the fan-submitted videos will be meshed together and produced into a compilation Marlins video montage. We think this will be a historic evening in the history of South Florida sports and we are excited that our fans will be able to capture it and document it forever through this "Be Part of History" project!
