Luis was born and raised in Boynton Beach, FL where he became a home-grown Marlins Fan, and is entering his 6th season with the Organization. During his college years, he attended Palm Beach State College, Florida Atlantic University and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, attaining his Degree in Communications. He began his career in the Radio AM world with 790 The Ticket in Miami, now home of the Miami Marlins. As an Intern there for nearly 2 years, he produced shows for Jeff DeForrest, Los Dos Amigos with Larry Milian and Alan Strauss, Sid Rosenberg, Jason Jackson and others. With some cross-over time while at the station, he also interned with the Miami Marlins Marketing & Game Presentation Departments for just over a year. In 2008, he was officially welcomed to the Marlins Family, and at the age of 26, is now the Supervisor of Game Presentation & Events and serves as the Producer for all Marlins home games.
