This Day in Baseball History:
March 30, 1992 > The Chicago Cubs acquire 23-year-old outfielder Sammy Sosa and pitcher Ken Patterson from the Chicago White Sox for veteran outfielder George Bell. While Bell's career will last only two more seasons, Sosa will go on to become a six-time All-Star and one of the greatest offensive forces in the history of the game.
