This Day in Baseball History:
September 27, 1963 > The Houston Colt .45s make Major League history by using a lineup of nine rookies. The all-rookie lineup, compiled by manager Harry Craft, includes future Hall of Famer Joe Morgan and future All-Stars Rusty Staub and Jimmy Wynn. Youth is not served as the Colt .45s lose to the New York Mets, 10-3.
