Win $25,000 in Derby Bracket Challenge
Fans can predict results online or on mobile devices; game locks Monday night
This is your chance to step into the batter's box and swing from your heels.
MLB.com presents the Derby Bracket Challenge, which gives fans an opportunity to call the game before they see it. Fans will have a chance to predict the winners of the Gillette Home Run Derby correctly, and if they have a perfect bracket, they can win $25,000 for their efforts.
Here's how it works: Fans will attempt to pick the order of finish in the first round and the winners of the second round, the semifinals and the finals. If multiple people win, they split the money. And if nobody wins, the top-scoring ballot will win tickets to the 2015 All-Star Game at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
Fans can play online or on their mobile devices, and it's free to enter. The game will lock at 8 p.m. ET on Monday night, which gives you a few days to decide who you think will come out on top. The odds of filing a perfect bracket have been calculated at slightly less than 500,000-to-1.
So who will it be? Yoenis Cespedes or Yasiel Puig? Jose Bautista or Troy Tulowitzki? Adam Jones or Todd Frazier? Giancarlo Stanton or hometown favorite Brian Dozier? Justin Morneau or Josh Donaldson? Only time will tell, but fans will have their chance to say "I told you so," and they could collect quite a bit of money in the process.
