    The New York Mets announced today that they have recalled LHP Josh Smoker from his rehabilitation assignment and activated him from the Disabled List. Smoker will wear #49 and will be available for today's game. In order to make room on the 25-man roster, the Mets designated RHP Neil Ramirez for assignment.

  • Mets bring back popular "No Fees" promotion July 17-20

    The New York Mets today announced they will pick up ticket fees for all remaining home games starting Monday, July 17 at 12:01 a.m. through Thursday, July 20 at 11:59 p.m. as part of the popular "No Fees" promotion. This limited time offer applies to all 34 remaining regular season home games including the Marvel Entertainment Syndergaard as Thor Bobblehead giveaway (July 22) vs. the Oakland A's and the Subway Series vs. the New York Yankees (August 16-17).     Major League Baseball tonight announced that outfielder Michael Conforto was named to the 2017 National League All-Star team. Conforto was elected on the Player Ballot. The 88th All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 11 in Miami.

    The New York Mets today announced that they have activated RHP Zack Wheeler from the 10-Day Disabled List.

    The New York Mets announced today that they have placed righthanded pitcher Robert Gsellman on the 10-Day Disabled List with a strained left hamstring and recalled infielder Matt Reynolds from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League. Reynolds is active for tonight's game at Miami.

    Anthony Young, who never let his losing records with the Mets rob him of his sense of humor or his grace, passed away today in Houston after a lengthy illness. Young, 51, pitched with the Mets from 1991-1993.

  • Mets select RHP Chasen Bradford from Las Vegas and option Tyler Pill

    The New York Mets announced today that they have selected the contract of RHP Chasen Bradford from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and optioned RHP Tyler Pill to Las Vegas. Bradford will wear #46 and is active for tonight's series finale in Los Angeles. To make room on the 40-man roster, LHP Tommy Milone has been transferred to the 60-Day Disabled List.
