    The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have claimed OF DARIN MASTROIANNI off waivers from the Minnesota Twins and optioned him to Buffalo of the International League (AAA). To make room on the 40-man roster OF KENNY WILSON has been designated for assignment.

    Toronto Blue Jays INF Maicer Izturis will require surgery to repair a complete tear of his lateral collateral ligament (LCL) after an MRI conducted yesterday revealed the injury.
