The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that a limited number of tickets for possible National League Wild Card and Division Series games at PNC Park will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, September 18, at 10 a.m.
The Pittsburgh Pirates today named outfielder Josh Bell their Minor League Player-of-the-Year and Tyler Glasnow the Minor League Pitcher-of-the-Year. The announcement was made by Larry Broadway, Pirates' Director of Minor League Operations.
The Pirates return to PNC Park for the final regular season homestand of 2014 to host the Chicago Cubs, the
Boston Red Sox, and the Milwaukee Brewers. The final regular season homestand will be highlighted by the
Baseball Equipment Drive on Friday, September 12; Fan Jam featuring Lynard Skynard on Saturday, September
13 and Clemente Day on Wednesday, September 17.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are scheduled to open the 2015 season on the road in Cincinnati on Monday, April 6. Following a six-game road trip to Cincinnati and Milwaukee, the Pirates will host the Detroit Tigers in the Home Opener on Monday, April 13.
