PNC Park Tours

The Pirates invite you to tour PNC Park, the home of the Bucs. PNC Park is located on Pittsburgh's North Shore along the Allegheny River, in a street block between Federal Street, General Robinson Street and Mazeroski Way.

Our interactive tour will give guests a broad view of the 38,000-seat facility with its classic view of the city's picturesque skyline.

In 2015, tours will run from April 14th through October 9th.

  • Tour Details

    • PNC Park Tours will run from April 14th through October 9th.
    • Tours are given Monday through Friday and select Saturdays on both gamedays and non-game days.
    • No Tours are given on days of afternoon games, holidays, special events or Sundays.
    • Individuals, families and groups smaller than 25 may purchase tickets online at pirates.com (coming soon) or at the Main Ticket Window at the corner of Federal and General Robinson Streets. Cash, credit cards and checks are accepted at the Main Box Office.
    • Due to the 4:05 game time on May 23rd and June 13th and there only being one tour time offered, all tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the window on those days. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD DAY OF ON MAY 23rd or JUNE 13th.
    • All Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
    • Groups of 25 or more must make reservations and be paid in full 10 days prior to the scheduled tour.
    • The tour will take you through all areas of this ultimate ballpark. We will combine baseball facts and Pirates fun to make your tour an exciting one!
      Some of the attractions you may visit during this comprehensive tour include:
      • Pirates Clubhouse (non-game/non-travel days only)
      • Pirates Dugout & Warning Track
      • Batting Cages
      • Pittsburgh Baseball Club Level
      • Press Box
      • Legacy Theatre & Museum
    • Cameras, video cameras, cell phones, and bags are permitted, but NOT IN THE PIRATES CLUBHOUSE.
    • THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED INTO THE CLUBHOUSE: BAGS OF ANY KIND (PURSE, DIAPER BAG, BACKPACK, ETC.), CAMERAS, VIDEO CAMERAS, OR CELL PHONES. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO DEPOSIT ITEMS ON A SECURE TABLE FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR VISIT INSIDE THE PIRATES CLUBHOUSE.
    • Tour lasts approximately 90 minutes; however, please allow yourself two hours to be at the ballpark.
    • This is a walking tour (approximately 1.5 miles), so please dress accordingly.
    • Tours are wheelchair and stroller accessible. Wheelchairs are available for your use during the tour. Arrangements for a wheelchair should be made 24 hours in advance.
    • All tour dates, times and tour highlights are subject to change without notice.
    • All tours begin at the Willie Stargell Statue Gate (located on Federal Street).

    *Groups of 25 or more receive the group discount rate of $6 per person, with a waiver for 1 chaperone per 12 students.

  • Tour Schedule

    DATES:
    • Tours will begin April 14th and end October 9th.
    • Tours are given Monday through Friday, and select Saturdays on both gamedays and non-game days.
    • Saturday dates: May 23 (tickets must be purchased in advance), June 13 (tickets must be purchased in advance), July 25, August 8, August 22, September 12 and October 3.
    • No Tours are given on days of afternoon games, holidays, special events or Sundays.
    TIMES:
    • Game day tours are offered at 10am and 12pm.
    • Saturday tour times are 10am, 11am, and 12pm, except on May 23rd and June 13th when there will only be 10am tours due to the 4:05pm game time starts.
    • Non-game day tours are offered at 10am and 12pm during April, May and September. During June, July and August they are offered at 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

  • Tour Tickets

    Individuals, families and groups smaller than 25 may purchase tickets online (coming soon) or at the Main Ticket Window at the corner of Federal and General Robinson Streets.

    Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the tour. We do not sell out the tour tickets. We take as many people that have come to purchase tickets.

    Due to the 4:05 game times on May 23rd and June 13th and there only being one tour time offered, all tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the window on those days.

  • Group Tours

    Group tours will be offered for organizations with 25-250 persons. Schools and organizations with more than 50 persons may be divided into smaller groups to ensure all members of the group enjoy the tour. The maximum number per group is 250 persons.

    Group tours will be offered Monday through Friday and select Saturdays throughout the season (please see dates above) at 10am and 12pm on game days and 10am, 12pm and 2pm on non-game days. Saturday times will be at 10am, 11am and 12pm, unless otherwise noted.

    Groups of 25 or more receive the group discount rate of $6 per person, with a waiver for 1 chaperone per 12 students.

    Group tours must make a reservation and must be paid in full 10 days prior to the scheduled tour or the tour is subject to cancellation. You can call (412) 325-4700 or e-mail pncparktours@pirates.com to check availability and to make reservations.

    There are no refunds for cancellations, the tour can be rescheduled. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are accepted along with business checks (no personal checks are accepted).

     

    LUNCH PROGRAM: Would you like to enjoy a lunch at PNC PARK? PNC Park and Aramark are offering a lunch program for the tour groups of 25 or more people.

    You may choose from the following:

    • Menu #1: Whole Pizza Pie - $11.00, One 12 cut Pizza plain or pepperoni
    • Menu #2: Hot Dog - $11.00, One Hot Dog served with ketchup and mustard packets
    • Menu #3: PB&J - $11.00, One Uncrustable PB&J sandwich
    • Menu #4: Turkey Sandwich - $12.00, Turkey sandwich with cheese, lettuce and tomato
    • Menu #5: Ham Sandwich - $12.00, Ham sandwich with cheese, lettuce and tomato
    • Menu #6: Vegetable Wrap - $12.00, Seasonal roasted and grilled vegetable in a flour wrap

    ALL MENU OPTIONS ARE SERVED WITH: Orange Drink (or Fountain Drink), Chips and a Cookie

    THE ABOVE PRICES INCLUDE THE LUNCH AND TOUR.

    OPTIONAL: One piece of whole fruit may be added to any lunch for an additional $1.25 charge. Options: Apple, Orange, or Banana (depends on seasonal availability)

  • Tour Parking/Drop-Off

    For your convenience, buses may park on North Shore Drive (west side of PNC Park) for free. Private cars and vans will need to park in a pay lot anywhere surrounding PNC Park, or at the metered street parking. Lot rates typically range from $8 to $20.

    Buses/Vans may drop-off on General Robinson or Mazeroski Way.

    NO drop-offs will be allowed on Federal Street.
